ALLERGEN POLICY
At our bakery, we prioritize your safety and enjoyment with every bite. When introducing new products or modifying existing ones, we conduct thorough risk assessments to identify and minimize cross-contamination risks. Our kitchen produces all items, and while we strive to minimize cross-contamination, we caution that traces of allergens may be present.
Our products may contain common allergens like gluten, eggs, milk, peanuts, tree nuts, soybeans, and sesame. We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of food safety, in compliance with Australian Food Regulations. We hold a current certification, ensuring that our practices meet rigorous guidelines for handling allergens. However, as our facility is not dedicated to being free from gluten, nuts, eggs, and other allergens, there is a risk of trace allergens.
When you choose our products, please keep in mind that while we follow strict safety protocols and do our utmost to prevent cross-contamination, Sugarloaf Bakehouse cannot guarantee our products are 100% free from allergens like gluten, nuts, eggs, and others. We don't have dedicated allergen-free facilities, and despite thorough cleaning of utensils and machinery, a risk of trace allergens remains.
If you have severe allergies and decide to purchase from us, we appreciate your understanding of these limitations and your acceptance of responsibility for any adverse reactions you may experience.
